Intellidose Nutrient/pH doser complete tested advise/personal experience

800

Description

hanks for taking a look.

This is a complete AmHydro Intellidose control system at a fraction of the original cost of

$1700. Its in perfect condition fully functional with the original instructions and the

remainder of manufacture warranty (about a year. I called and asked) The pH probe warranty

has expired after 6mo. I ran the unit for one cycle and loved it. All prewired and installs

in minutes. Took 20mins to install in my kitchen for a pic. It got fired up and started

ticking with all the old settings – so reliable. The unit is top quality, rugged, reliable

and easy too use. It has all the right features to be usefull for a hydro grow system and to

pay for itself by far in one grow. I\\\’ll explain below how I used it extremely successfull if

you care.

The controller module by itself is an excellent pH/ppm monitor. Save your $200 for a quality

sensor. Does not hurt to have a cheap backup, though.

Here is what you get. The system is complete and almost turn key. I will be happy to assist

you over email but the whole thing is very intuitive. This is a four part system. The

controller will proportionaly feed nutrients or phup/phdown out of four stock tanks. The

doser controls 4 gravity fed solenoids – 4 solenoid board. I beleive, You can buy and

install another board to make it an 8 part controller. Instead of getting an expensive stock

tank option I got my own food grade 5gal buckets and plumbed them with original fittings.

Works great.Gravity fed solenoids mean that stock tanks need to be above the reservour. See

one of the pics to get an idea how it was mounted.

My personal experience and knowledge and support over email. I promise only a reasonable

delay.

The only thing you would have to supply is a small fountain pump for the mixing tank. I can

send the one I used for another $20.

The reason for sale is I switched to organic soil garden. Not because I failed at hydro but

because I got all I could out that technique and beleive I can do better in soil. If you are

interested here is my advice how to run a hydro recirculating reservour with a dosing

system. Necessarilly, it comes with a little grow lesson. I gaurantee If you follow this

advise and fill a few gaps from Ask Lucas thread you will see huge improvements in your next

grow. And you gonna love how little work it takes. As a matter of fact, if this makes sense

to you I will coach you through your next grow. Of couse, this is extra but we can come up

with a mutually benefitial arrangement.

The key to ANY hydro system is management of recirculating reservour system. If you do it

right you will get repeatable pleasant results every time you fire up your system. Here is

what plants like – constant or very slow changing ppm (solution strength) and pH that

gradually swings through 5.2 – 6.0 range. Thats what happens in nature – soil strength does

not change much, pH changes with every rain and plants adapted to absorb different nutrients

from soil at different pH levels. So, to make your plants happy control ppm and leave pH

along to drift but within range. When it drifts out of range change the res. Of couse,

adjust pH when you mix new res and then let it drift on its own to the other side of the

range for a few weeks. As plants drink and eat out of your res the water is toped off by a

float valve and the doser doing all the work by topping off nutrients. Thats the part you

would be doing a few times a day by yourself instead of paying attention to your plants or

yourself or just having fun.

Another thing the doser will do for your plants is to keep a precise ppm schedule through

the grow. This is the key for getting a strong consistent yuild without overnutting and

frying the taste. Its a fine line. Keep records and do the same thing every time – punch a

few numbers into the controller once a week or hook it up to the laptop and punch in the

schedule for the whole grow. Then, you can control it remotely over the web.
